Gear pumps are used for pumping liquids of various viscosities: oils, petroleum products, chemical liquids, paints, etc. Such pumps consist of a pair of gears that are engaged and one of which is the leading one, and the second is the driven one. Rotating around their axes, the gears, with teeth that are not engaged at the moment, drag the pumped oil from the suction zone to the injection zone.
